Bullying is growing drastically in schools and many other places. Bullies put others down so that they can gain confidence and attention. What they don't know is that it hurts someone else's feelings and that it will affect that person for the rest of their life. There are better ways to gain attention. Instead of mocking others, be a friend. If you're having problems, then talk to a friend and seek help. Don't take out your frustration on others.

Alan November is an educational consultant who helps schools improve. He does research on what's working and what's not. In this video, he said that there are three skills that people need in order to be successful. Number one is being able to use information processing. The next one is having global communication. Finally, you have to be self-directed. At the end of the video November said, "the American school system was designed not to do those things."
